Thanks for joining me on my blog, Archetypal Branding. I’m writing this blog as a means of processing my insights and understandings of the Master Key Experience program. Secondarily, it may evolve into a business blog for my work as a coach stylist for creative women entrepreneurs. The common thread between MKE and my business is an emphasis on the power of the subconscious mind.
Carl Jung identified twelve universal aspects of the human psyche. Later marketing professionals began to use these to position companies within the mind of customers as having certain characteristics of one of the twelve archetypes. I use these archetypes as part of my approach to branding for creative entrepreneurs.
As a former psychologist, I loved discovering Carl Jung and his understanding of the unconscious. I was also enamored with Joseph Campbell, whose mastery of the massive subject matter of archetypes, symbols and world religions blew me away.
With my clients I help bridge the inner world of mind and spirit with the physical expression of personal style and business identity, guiding them through the transform of both their appearance and brand essence through image, color, words and symbols.
Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
